Tesco loan how long does it take

Been able to pay for my new kitchen and bathroom with one affordable payment every month and the statements couldn't be clearer. Even 2 years later I checked to see if there was a better deal and there wasn't. The rates are great and Tesco Bank customer service are brilliant. Loan process is simple and quick, however DO NOT be fooled by the interest rate they suggest you may get, they added an extra 1 percent on top.

My experience I found it very easy to apply and the speed of response has been exceptional along with the very pleasant and professional lady who texted me to call when I had spelt my address incorrectly in the application. Easy to obtain a loan only missed out on the full stars as the interest rate was slightly higher than advertised.

No early repayment fees are a huge bonus. I was able to pick the payment direct debit date which assists with budgeting. Very good customer services.

Quick response when made application. I applied to tesco bank over 3 weeks ago online, my credit rating is good so thought there would be no problem, 3 weeks later and a phone call which i was on hold for 11 mins i have found out its be declined! Im looking ino it through experian, but If you've been declined as a result of a Credit Reference Agency search, we recommend you obtain a copy of your credit file and check the information on it before reapplying or applying for credit elsewhere.

We may also request some additional documents to support your application, such as proof of your identity or address. You must send these with your signed loan documents. Once we receive your signed loan documents, with any supporting documentation we requested, we'll make some final checks. Once we're happy with the information you've sent, we'll fully approve your loan and pay the money into your bank account. We will send you a text message to confirm that we have completed the transfer.

If you are referred, it may take between 5 — 10 days for us to check everything is ok. As we try to do this as quickly as possible, we do not send an acknowledgment email or letter, but will inform you as soon as a decision has been made. We applied for a loan on 16th July via internet and were accepted, then received a text on 23rd July to say good news, your loan has been approved subject to some final checks, please sign and return the paperwork.

The same text came through again on the 30th July. But with no sign of any paperwork. In the end I cancelled the application as I really could not wait much longer. Recieved paperwork through in the post on Friday the 26th and signed and returned same day registered post. To my suprise on Sunday 28th i checked my bank account and the money was already processed and in my account which i never expected so quick.
